Bathroom & me — journey of film-making
DIRECTOR
This portfolio follows my journey as a filmmaker. From being a solo content creator filming travel and experimental videos, I finally found my own video production team, Amplifier Studio in grade 10.
Self-taught filmmaker and photographer through online courses, books, and videos for over 7 years
Filmed over 40 videos with over 60,000 views across various platforms, including experimental films, travel videos, and narrative short films, showing a more intimate and expressive side of filmmaking
As the leader, I coordinate productions, oversee the whole process, and host workshops. Most importantly, I fostered a community where artists, writers, actors, editors, photographers/gaffers, musicians (audio engineers), editors, animators, and color graders. This community extended beyond the core members to collaborations with other clubs and schools.
From day-to-day operation, my strengths and roles are mainly in directing, writing, photography, editing, and color grading. We output around 1 video per month on average, accumulating 27 videos and 36k views in 2 years.
Apart from daily content, I directed our major productions, showcased below.
